Who are the Lions?
Local people who are motivated to help others and make it enjoyable for all.
What is a Lions Club?
A Lions Club is part of the largest community service organisation in the world, Lions Club International, with over 1.4 million members that serve in around 46,000 clubs from over 200 countries
Who can be a member?
Anyone over the age of 18 can be invited to join the chosen Lions club. An annual membership fee is payable . This goes towards the cost of running the Club so that 100% of fund raising can be given back to the Community
What do we do?
Fundraise to support local and global charitable causes
Assist individuals in need such as driving them to clubs/hospital etc
Aid community projects
Socialise as a group
What rewards/opportunities are there?
To 'put back' into the community
To experience leadership, develop communication skills and be active within the community. Get involved in project team work
Who we are looking for?
For people who can spare a few hours of their time every month to help make a difference.
